Abstract
The medication of human reproduction is one of the most important issues that lead to discussion concerning law and Biothics. Modern techniques of human reproduction may offer maternity to infertile women, to menopausal ones, to lesbians, an to those women who never had sexual intercourse. They separate reproduction from sexuality and enable maternity beyond biological limits. So, there is a valorization of maternity as female characteristic. besides interfering on genetic aspects, science establishes new grounds on the future mother's desires and choices.
