Abstract

Although the limits imposed by reproductive technology have been changed, the diagnosis of infertility still leaves the patient faced with the impossibility of having a child at the desired time. Although the various treatments available allow infertile couples to envision the possibility of getting pregnant, they also present them with a series of challenges and decisions. The desired child conceived in the imagination can now have life aided by assisted reproduction technology that allows us to obtain precise and faster results. The influence of these advances on mankind's relationships with different aspects of life is undeniable. Artificial Intelligence in the area of Medically Assisted Procreation has been used as a new category of studies aimed at equipment that optimizes diagnoses and treatments. The time-lapse system, used in embryology laboratories to select embryos, allows the observation of embryonic development, associated with computer programs that evaluate and select the embryo that theoretically will have the greatest potential for implantation in the mother's womb. However, when we think about mankind's interaction with this progress and its practical results in terms of subjective experience, we cannot forget that from the initial consultation to the result of a procedure, there are several moments when it will be necessary to clarify, inform, welcome, discuss and reflect on the issues involved in this process. We explain that AI contributes to the resolution of objective issues, which does not invalidate the subjectivity that constitutes being, that is, feelings and emotions will continue as individual experiences of each person.
