Abstract

The COVID-19 epidemic is an unexpected worldwide state, and all countries have implemented their own policies to contract the spread of the virus. Pathophysiology of COVID-19 has opened numerous hypotheses of functional alteration in different physiological function. The direct impact of SARS-CoV-2 on the urogenital organ in male/female is still to be assessed. Nevertheless, based on biological similarity between SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2 several hypotheses are proposed. In this study, we will discuss the possible mechanism of actions, and potential effects on the male/female reproductive system and fertility.
