The theca and granulosa cells around the developing oocytes are well arranged, as compared to the Carica papaya-treated groups having few ovarian follicles, degeneration of the theca and granulosa cells of the ovarian follicles and corpus luteum (B- 7day-treatment) though mild as compared to 21-day treated Carica papaya.
