control group (A) at 7 and 14 days shows many healthy ovarian follicles at
various stages of development. The theca and granulosa cells around the
developing oocytes are well arranged, as compared to Carica
papaya-treated groups, having few ovarian follicles,
degeneration of the theca and granulosa cells of the ovarian follicles and
corpus luteum (B- 7days treatment), though mild, as compared to 21
day-treated Carica papaya.
