Benvindos!

Bienvenidos!

Welcome to Rio!

The REDLARA welcomes the participants of the 10th General Congress in Rio de Janeiro. The meeting once again strengthens the ties of our 141 centers spread in Latin America and, at the same time, makes our experiences available to anyone who wishes to visit us.

The Board of Directors together with the SBRA have prepared an intensive scientific program, based on current topics that will surely arouse heated debate not only in the auditoriums but also in the halls, corridors and exhibition areas. Pre-Congress Courses, totalling four, favor continuing education, open up opportunities for interaction with gynecologists in general, bring current and controversial aspects of the ethical-legal interface and enable the social debate on assisted reproduction not to mention an unforgettable workshop for embryologists. The Program, again providing the best available knowledge, will be presented by invited Latin American, European and American speakers.

The Examining Board has received 66 submissions. In addition to honoring the 11 oral presentations, included in different round tables, do not forget to visit the 45 posters that will be exhibited. This whole movement of our community shows Latin American research and, of course, seeks new ways to display our scientific expression.

Let’s wait for the best works to be defined, which will receive the REDLARA Award of 2011 and the best poster Award, named after Rio de Janeiro.

To the 52 specialists who must give their final exams on the Clinical and Embryologists Programs of Continuing Education (PEC), we wish you good luck!

Special thanks to our sponsors and exhibitors, who are part of our daily work. They have given to RED the support needed to implement all its activities. Furthermore, it is important to register the work of the chairmen and members of the Committees on Accreditation, Education and Ethics as well as the group of the Latin American Register, which constitutes the pillars of our institution.

Finally, it is the duty of RED members to gather the Assembly that will elect the new Director Executive and Vice Director for the 2011-2014 quadrennium. Under the supervision and assistance of our attentive Executive Secretary, Marina Diaz, we will plan strategies for tomorrow.

Um grande abraço !

Saludos !

A warm hug to all of you !
