Abstract
The past few years the high complexity assisted reproduction techniques, in vitro fertilization (FIV) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), has been indicated to couples with infertility. However, the health profesionals doesn’t know the consequences of those treatment on offsprings. Some papers had already been published standing out the consequences of these techniques in short term. The cientists are concern about the long term consequencies, such as genetic risk and cancer development. Therefore, this paper aimed to verify the association between the hight complexity techniques of assisted reproduction and pediatric cancer. The conclusions presented in all 48 articles used for this research, suggest the absence of the cause - consequence relation between the parameters used in these study. However, more studies are needed in order to have safer conclusions.
