Abstract
Even in the course of ICSI process the spermatozoa is injected into a mature oocyte, not always the fertilization occurs. The failure fertilization can be associated with several factors been the spermatic factors the most important, such as free radicais in semen, chromosomal aberrations and proteic deffects on gamete surface or in its chromatin packaging. The identification of these factors can contribute for better results after ICSI.
