Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to describe the treatment of an infertile couple by the association of recombinant FSH (rec-FSH), intracitoplasmatic sperm injection technique (ICSI) and cryopreserved male partner semen. Patient was ovarian stimulated with rec-FSH (Gonal F) after a previous pituitary desensibilisation with Lupron; ICSI was performed with cryopreserved male partner semen. Pregnancy was obtained at the third cycle. A healthy baby boy was bom by surgical means in march 1 998. The succeeded treatrnent of the couple showed the feasibility of the association of recFSH, ICSI and cyopreserved semen and that clinics must be read to use available state of the ART resource.
