Abstract
The diagnosis of retrograde ejaculation is made from the patient history and confirmed by finding sperm in the urine after masturbation. The cryopreservation of sperm originated from the post-ejaculation urinary fraction, reduces considerably the quality of the seminal parameter. Apparently these alterations are compatible with the ones observed in the standard seminal cryopreservation, that is if the material from the bladder is col\ected just after the ejaculation. On the other hand, the freezing technique should not be used in a routine manner with patients that suffer of retrograde ejaculation since if the material obtained is a bad quality one, the freezing process tends to accentuate this side of the data. The present conduct becomes a valid alternative to patients before they are submitted to other kinds of interventions. ln this brief communication, the authors describe a non invasive method of sperm collection in a case of a retrograde ejaculation, being these sperm there after successful\y cryopreserved.
