Abstract

We related 02 cases of pregnancy with birth of 03 children seronegatives for HIV - I of two seronegative women and seropositive husbands, after the use of ICSI. The protocol used for treatment was the use of the agonist of GnRH in long protocol for pituitary supression; the ovarian estimulation with recombinant FSH and the oocytes were retrieval when 2 follicles presented at least 18 mm. The semen was collected through masturbation process and prepared in the laboratory. The separation of the seminal sample was accomplished in gradient of density of 3 layers (50%, 70% and 90%) the semen was washed 4 times, and only then a mobile spermatozoa was selected to be injected inside of the oocyte. The transfers happened within 1 20 hours. The labor of case I was natural birth of a healthy girl, with 39 weeks (today a I year old). ln the case 2 it was a cesarean of2 healthy boys, with 35 weeks (today I I months old). ln both cases, the research of the HIV - 1 was done, in both mothers and children at birth, and ali were seronegatives. They still remain seronegative, according to the control that has been maintained.
