Abstract
A case of interstitial ectopic pregnancy after in vitro fertilization with embryo transfer to a patient who had preously undergone bilateral salpingectomy for hydrosalpinx is reported. Concerns about the sensitivity of ß-hCG measurement and transvaginal ecography in the diagnosis and management with methotrexate of such cases are reviewed.
