Abstract
Recent studies have shown that syngenic, xenogenic and spermatogonial transplants from cryopreserved stem cells are now possible. These novel techniques open new frontiers in reproductive biology and biotechnology. Specifically for men, the potential for treatment for certain types of infertility may now be possible. However, to prove useful as a too] for biomedical science and biotechnology, many important aspects of this fascinating approach remain to be better established.
