Introduction: The present study evaluates our experience with the medical treatment of patients submitted to vasectomy and remained infertile after vasovasostomy. Material and Methods: We treated 6 infertilepatients all of them submitted to successful vasovasostomy. One patient was refered to assisted fertilization and the others were treated with corticoid therapy was carried out 3 years latter aiming another pregnancy. Results:Pregnancy occurred as a result of assisted fertilization in I patient, corticoid therapy in 2 patients and rebound therapy in 2 patients. Three years latter, one of the patients submitted to rebound therapy obtained another pregnancy, after corticoid therapy. Conclusion: At the moment, assisted fertilization is he method of choice for the treatment of patients remaining infertile after vasovasostomy. However, when assisted fertilization is not available, many of these patients can be successfully submitted to corticoid and/or rebound therapy, in case an immunologic problem is found out.
